Over the years, BPS has worked on many documentaries for video game companies that have products whose fans compete in Esports tournaments. Below are three such documentaries that we produced in Brazil for various gaming clients:
LIVE/PLAY
Type of Project: Documentary
Shoot Location: Araraquara and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Company: Riot Games
After being friends online for many years without seeing each other face to face, a Brazilian gamer from Rio de Janeiro travels to Araraquara, in São Paulo state, to meet his online friend’s family after the friend has passed away in a motorcycle accident.
Produced by Brazil Production Services for Riot Games, Live/Play was shot in the states of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. BPS was responsible for the whole production in Brazil, including local crew hire, transportation, logistics and content development.
BEYOND THE BRAWL

Shoot Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Company: Supercell
Vitor, or VTzim as he is known in the Brawl Stars universe, is a professional video game player for the QLASH team. In this episode of Beyond the Brawl, we get to know how Vitor’s trajectory went from physical competitions in Jiu Jitsu to digital competitions in Brawl Stars. Brazil Production Services produced the film, doing everything from location research to crew hiring, from equipment rental to assisting the director with artistic conceptualization. The resulting video has turned out to be a fan favorite.
HEROES ARISE

Company: Garena
Syaz is a professional video game player, MVP and Brazilian Free Fire League Champion, who has won several awards including “Brabo da Galera” (Fan Favorite). Born in the countryside of Ceará, he moved to São Paulo to pursue a professional career, driven by his passion for the gaming world. The film follows how radical and life-changing this step was for Syaz, in all its complexity.
Brazil Production Services ran point on the production in Brazil, from location selection and local crew hiring to equipment rentals, filming and interviewing Syaz, all of which went into creating the high-quality footage used by the post-production team to build this short biographical film about the player.
